Terms of Service

The service

Personal Dealer gives an individual automotive salesperson a personal website, a place to show vehicles, forms that capture leads, and a book of business for managing customers and follow-ups. Accounts are for one person. They aren't for a dealership, a team, or a shared login.

Subscription and cancellation

The subscription is $29 per month and includes every feature. It renews monthly until you cancel, and you can cancel from your account at any time without contacting us. Cancelling stops the next charge and takes your public page down at the end of the period you've paid for. We don't prorate partial months.

If we change the price we'll tell you before it takes effect and you can cancel instead.

What belongs to you

Your customer list, your notes, your leads, your written content, and your photos are yours. We claim no ownership of them and we don't use them to market to your customers. You can export or delete them whenever you want, and that doesn't change if you cancel.

We need permission to host and display what you publish — that's what makes your page work — and nothing beyond that.

Your employer and your dealership

Whether you may promote yourself, advertise your store's inventory, or hold customer information outside your dealership's systems is between you, your employer, and your employment agreement. We aren't a party to that and we can't advise you on it. Check before you publish if you're unsure.

Your page is your own. It doesn't use your dealership's branding or claim to be their website, and you may not present it as an official dealership site.

Vehicles, prices, and advertising

You are responsible for everything you publish about a vehicle, including price, availability, mileage, condition, and disclosures. Vehicle advertising is regulated and the rules differ between states. Keeping your listings accurate and compliant is your obligation, not ours.

Remove or correct a listing promptly when it stops being accurate — a sold vehicle at an old price is the fastest way to a complaint.

We are not part of your sale

Personal Dealer introduces you to people. It isn't a broker or a dealer and it isn't a party to any transaction between you and a customer. Financing, trade-ins, delivery, warranties, and the sale itself are entirely between you, your customer, and your dealership.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Personal Dealer to:

• Publish anything misleading, unlawful, or that you don't have the right to publish
• Send unsolicited bulk messages, or contact people who have asked you not to
• Upload someone else's photographs, listings, or written content as your own
• Impersonate another salesperson, a dealership, or a manufacturer
• Attempt to access another user's account or data
• Interfere with the service, or work around its limits or security

We may suspend or close an account that does these things, and we'll tell you why.

Availability

We work to keep the service up and your page reachable, but we don't promise it will never be unavailable. Maintenance, provider outages, and faults happen. We don't offer a uptime guarantee or service credits.

Disclaimers and limits

The service is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We don't promise it will generate leads, sales, income, or search rankings.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost sales, lost data, or any indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, in which case they apply only as far as permitted.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may end this agreement if you materially breach these terms, or with reasonable notice if we discontinue the product. If we discontinue it, we'll give you time and a means to export your data first.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. We'll update the date at the top, and for a change that materially affects your rights we'll tell you directly before it takes effect.
