Privacy Policy

What we collect from you

When you create an account we collect your name, email address, phone number, and the profile photo, headline, and biography you choose to publish. We also store the design choices you make for your page and the content you write.

What we hold on your behalf

Your book of business is your customers' information — names, phone numbers, email addresses, the notes you write, and the follow-ups you schedule. We store and process it so the product works. We do not sell it, we do not use it to market to your customers, and we do not share it with your dealership or with other Personal Dealer users.

You are responsible for the customer information you put into the product, including having a legitimate reason to hold it. You can export or delete it at any time.

What we record about visitors to your page

So your analytics can tell you what is working, we record an event when someone views your page, views a vehicle or post, taps a contact button, or submits a form. Each event stores the page path, the referring URL, and the browser's user-agent string.

We also store a one-way hash of the visitor's IP address. The address itself is never written to our database. We use no advertising cookies, no third-party trackers, and no cross-site tracking of any kind.

Payment information

Subscriptions are handled by Stripe. Card numbers are collected by Stripe directly and never reach our servers — we store only your subscription status and the identifiers Stripe gives us to manage billing.

Cookies

We set cookies to keep you signed in and to protect your session. That is all they are for. There are no analytics or advertising cookies on the dashboard or on your public page.

Who else processes this information

We use a small number of service providers, each for one purpose, and each only receives what that purpose requires:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage for photos.
• Vercel — application hosting and content delivery.
• Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing.
• Resend — transactional email, such as notifying you of a new lead.

How long we keep things

We keep your account and its contents for as long as your account is open. If you cancel, your public page is taken down and your data is retained for a limited period so you can reactivate or export it, then deleted. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will.

Your choices

You can view and correct your information from your account at any time, export your contacts, unpublish your page so it is no longer publicly reachable, or ask us to delete your account and its contents outright.

Children

Personal Dealer is a tool for working salespeople and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information we will update this page and change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell you directly rather than relying on you to notice.
